THE TIME IS NOW

When you understand WHY you went through your trauma, it can become transformational. By sharing your struggles in your healing journey and using it as a testimony to encourage others can be so uplifting. Self care is a must if you truly want to heal your trauma. Be intentional with your self care- the goal is to transform and elevate the mind, body and soul. Incorporating meditation, stable Exercise routine and good nutrition into your daily lifestyle is imperative. For exercises, it advisable to start slow and small. Personally, I started my weekly exercise routine small by doing Sumo Squats, 3 set of 12 Reps every Mondays, Wednesday and Friday. Then I gradually increased it to 5 set of 12 reps on same days. My next goal is to include Saturdays to my weekly routine. As for nutrition, I tailor it to my body mass index (body weight)... my daily intake includes fruits and vegetables, avocado is a staple for me and hydration is very important for me as well. When you become good at caring for yourself it helps lead to the path of healing your trauma. Self care teaches you how to create thoughts that align with your soul. it teaches you how to create healthy boundaries and non-negotiable(s) and more importantly it teaches you compassion. It is empowering to be empathetic to yourself and others.

I encourage you today to step forward and speak your truth in an authentic light.

Journaling your feelings is one good way to start living and speaking your truth. Then sharing or telling your story is another way. Sharing your truth/story is a powerful way to take back control from the powers and voices that have controlled the narrative for so long without your permission. It's time to start HEALING. THE TIME IS NOW.
